So the twins can turn any sound into a song to dance to. Some of you asked to see a video of the girls dancing to the sound of the washing machine agitating... well here it is!
Nothing beats Donuts and hot chocolate for breakfast topped off with a visit from the jolly old elf himself.

Many of the surrounding cities have a Saturday "snow day" in the month of December. After breakfast with Santa we went straight to the park and were lucky to be some of the first there. The children had a blast sledding, jumping in the many bounce houses, making holiday necklaces, writing letters to Santa, riding the train, throwing snow balls and playing games. If we can't have a white Christmas we'll take the next best thing. Our city puts on a Polar Express train ride every year. This is our 3rd year going and it never disappoints. So after being warn out from playing in the snow we went home for lunch to refuel and then went to get our tickets for the Polar express. After riding the train to the North Pole we got to decorate cookies, color pictures, and eat more sugar! Of course Santa was there and gave out jingle bells to all the children that sat on his lap... I don't know how he does it all :o) This was a great start to our Christmas celebration. We had a great time and the best part is that it's all FREE!!
We are so excited for this holiday season and the joy and excitement it brings. As enjoyable as all the Christmas activities are, we are the most excited about celebrating the birth our our Savior Jesus Christ. It is because of His birth and mortal ministry that we are so richly blessed with the knowledge of His gospel here on earth.
We wish all we love a very Merry Christmas and a happy new year!!
The Wedding day was so perfect. The weather was a beautiful 60 degrees and the fall leaves were spectacular! Tonya looked gorgeous and Dave was smokin' hot! They are such a perfect couple... they fit so well together. We are so happy for them and so happy to have Tonya join our family. We love you guys!

So this year I decided to get creative and be that mom who made costumes (the mom I NEVER thought I would be, not that it's bad, it just wasn't me) But I caught some crazy creative bug and thought it would be fun. I, of course, did not make the wings but I did make the tutu's and the sash's. Halloween night we went out to Katie and Dave's (Casey's sister) house and had dinner and trick or treating with them and Dave's brothers family. So here are a bizillion pictures of our halloween week.... enjoy!

And since we missed Poppi this Halloween due to a trip to Utah, Autumn and Cody decided to carve their own Halloween tribute to our very own "Fatal Floyd" (Floyd worked in traffic investigation for the Costa Mesa police department.) I gotta say, they did an amazing job, looks just like him!
Utah is the most beautiful place in the fall. There aren't many places I would rather be in the month of October. Being in California I have really missed the changing of the seasons. It worked out so perfectly that Dave and Tonya decided to get married last week. Their wedding day was perfect. The leaves were beautiful and it was a sunny 60 degrees... GORGEOUS!!!
I will post pictures from the wedding soon:o)
