FLASHBACK FRIDAY!

These are a couple of my very favorite pictures of Maxwell as a baby. He was 5months old. This was our first trip as a family....these pictures were taken in Maui, at the pool of our hotel. He was such a fun, happy baby. I can't believe he is already 31/2. We love you Maxwell!!!
The reason I chose this Akon song today is because Maxwell heard it on the radio one day when we were driving and now he sings it all the time......

Happy Brithday Mia and Eva!!!!!

Two years ago today the sweetest pair of twin girls ever born came into our family. We absolutely love having them in our lives!

FLASH BACK FRIDAY........

In October of 2005 I went in for my 20 week ultrasound as all pregnant woman do. As I laid on the table with anticipation I had a "feeling".......the doctor came in and lifted my shirt to begin the ultrasound. The first image to come up on the screen was two small circles. The radiologist looked at me and said...."do you know what that is?.....butterflies started racing around in my stomach and my heart started to pound....."that's a head, and that's a head.....you have twins!" I knew it! Casey on the other hand couldn't believe it! We talked about how neat it would be to have twins long before I was pregnant with Maxwell, and this time around I just knew. Casey was in shock! He always said he would love to have twins but sometimes I wonder if he only said that because he didn't think it would ever really happen.

And that was the beginning of life as we know it now..........

I really think that we were prepared for a long time to have these two special girls. They were truly meant to come to our family. I also know that they were there in heaven to greet our sweet mother Karen when she passed on through the veil. They bring so much joy and love to our family. I am overwhelmed most days at how much they have blessed our family. When they came into our home they brought so much strength, encouragement and love with them. I look back and know that the only reason we got through those first couple of months so well was because of the overwhelming amount of help from beyond the veil. They opened up a small path to heaven into our home and undoubtedly an unmeasurable amount of strength. Their little spirits are so strong and so pure. They are absolute sweetness!
I am so thankful to be a mother and to have the opportunity for growth that comes because of it.

You won't find this in Utah..........

It's been so warm here lately that the trees haven't even had time to shed their fall leaves before they started to blossom.......so pretty! The other day we stepped outside to go for a walk with the kids and Maxwell saw all the blossoms on the trees and said..."Mom, look at all the pretty white flowers in the trees....it's springtime, Mom". As pretty as it is I really am missing the snow, I know, I'm crazy! So to all of you in Utah in the cold snow....Here are some early spring blossoms.

FLASHBACK FRIDAY!

So I'm going to steal an idea that I saw on one of my friends, friends blog.......it's called flashback friday. Each friday I will post a pictures or video from something in the past. Today the pictures are from this past summer......

Many of you know that we spent this past summer living in Stamford, CT. Casey's job at the time required that we move out of state for the summer sales program he was involved in. So I just thought that I would share pictures from all the things we did during the summer. Some of the main events of the summer were......Maxwell's 3rd birthday, the girls started walking, nauvoo, lot's of hotel stays to and from NYC, watching the hill cumorah pageant in the pouring rain, Cody's high school graduation, our sweet grandma martin passed away in June, downtown NYC with the kids, Central Park, amazing rain storms, seeing the broadway Wicked, the incredible spring blossoms and flowers, our trip to Palmyra and Niagra Falls and overall enjoying being together as a family. This was a summer we will never forget!

3 kids in the tub

The children have become quite the singers these days...... their favorite songs to sing are...... "twinkle, twinkle little star", "jesus wants me for a sunbeam", "frosty the snow man", and of course, "santa claus is coming to town" (they don't understand that christmas is over, they are still telling me what they want santa to bring them)..... They love to giggle and ham it up! Who doesn't like all that attention right!
Last week we took a trip to Legoland with all the Waldron cousins. We all had so much fun together. (Thanks Katie for the free tickets!) Days like this were made to be spent together with family. It was cousin Logans 1st birthday. We had to bribe them with M&M's so they would sit long enough to take a couple of pictures. People probably thought we were crazy taking all those kids to the park when we were obviously outnumbered but the chaos is what makes it so much fun! And just think....in 2 more months we will add 2 more boys to the mix. Boys are ahead 8 to 5.......we'll see how long that lasts:)

Maxwell loves his cousins and friends!!!

Ok, ok..... So, many of my friends and family have been driving me crazy about getting with it and starting a family blog..... those of you who know me, know that I am a total idiot when it comes to computers and operating them, but I guess it's time for me to get with the times and learn something new. So...... with much dismay..... I present to you ----- the "official" Casey and Tammy Waldron family blog .................Yahoooo!!!
