8 weeks and oh so sweet!

Kylynne had her 2month check up yesterday. She is growing so much. She weighed
11lbs 2oz and was 23 inches. I couldn't believe she weighed that much!
She has started to coo and smile and it's the best. I love this stage because she is still newborn enough that I can still snuggle her but she is old enough that she is starting to respond. There's nothing like that first real smile, I couldn't hold back the tears. She is the sweetest girl. Would you just look at those chubby cheecks and double chin, I could just eat her up.

Randoms...

A couple of weeks ago I gave the children some bubble gum. As they chewed I kept reminding them not to swallow it and to keep it in their mouths. A few minutes later I noticed that Mia wasn't chewing so I asked her if she swallowed it, her response... "No Mom I didn't swallow it, I just put it in my tummy!"

Maxwell has become more interested lately about getting married and who he is going to marry. One sunday after church he was sitting in the middle of Eva and Mia out on the couch in the follier with his arms around them both. He looked at me and said "Mom, I'm going to marry my sisters." I had to explain to him that we can't marry our family. Later our conversation went like this:
Me: "Maxwell, what temple do you want to get married in... Salt lake like mommy and daddy? L.A.? Newport beach? Timpanogos by Grammy and pappa's house in utah?
Maxwell: looking at me with his "duh mom" face he says "um, Heavenly Fathers temple!" DUH!

Last night while getting ready to go have dinner with family, this was maxwells train of thought...
Me: "Maxwell go down stairs and get your shoes on."
Maxwell: "but Mom, I love you."
Me: I love you too, please go."
Maxwell: "But Mom, We have the best family ever!" looking up at me with those big blue eyes he leaned up on his toes and puckered up his lips, who could argue or resist!

Now that we have 4 carseats in our car we have the twins in the very back with an empty seat between them. Lately they have been entertaining themselves in the car with singing. They love to sing christmas songs and primary songs, they even love singing the names of our family as well as most of their cousins names to a made up tune. On saturday while driving to Maxwells soccer game they were singing "ring around the rosies." I looked back to find them holding hands across the seat as they giggled and sang. Love those girls!

Tooth #2...

Because Maxwell's first two teeth broke through on his blessing day when he was three months old, we knew he was going to lose his teeth early. The average child loses his/her first tooth at age 6 or 7, Maxwell is 4 1/2. Back in November we noticed a tooth growing in behind his front bottom tooth. By December it had come in all the way and loosened the tooth in front of it in the process. Two days before Christmas he pulled his first tooth out himself... and the second, well watch the videos:)

It took the tooth fairy two nights to get to Maxwells tooth since she was slightly sleep deprived due to her new tooth fairy baby and forgot.

Happy Birthday Grammy!

Yesterday was my mother-in-laws birthday. She would have been 58. To honor her birthday we got together with all of the Waldrons on sunday to celebrate. Amber made the most delicious fresh strawberry pies and we sang happy birthday.
Yesterday Casey and I and Autumn and the children wrote happy birthday cards to Grammy to take to the cemetary. When we go there we tied the cards to balloons, sang happy birthday and then let the balloons go up to heaven to her.
We miss her so much and are so thankful to have had her in our lives. She loved and laughed and taught us so much. We love you Mom! Happy Birthday.

Baby Kylynne

My sister in law Autumn and I took these pictures of Kylynne 2 weeks ago. She is getting so big and is changing everyday. She is such a sweet baby and adds so much joy to our family.

LOVE this sad face!
