Yesterday was my mother-in-laws birthday. She would have been 58. To honor her birthday we got together with all of the Waldrons on sunday to celebrate. Amber made the most delicious fresh strawberry pies and we sang happy birthday.
Yesterday Casey and I and Autumn and the children wrote happy birthday cards to Grammy to take to the cemetary. When we go there we tied the cards to balloons, sang happy birthday and then let the balloons go up to heaven to her.
We miss her so much and are so thankful to have had her in our lives. She loved and laughed and taught us so much. We love you Mom! Happy Birthday.

That is such a beautiful picture with your family at her gravesite. What an awesome idea too to tie cards to balloons and to send them off to heaven.
I miss her too...She was one of the greatest women I knew.

That brings a tear to my eye. It is sogreat that you are helping to culivate the memories of Casey's mom for your kids. The kids are adroable. Tell Cas we're thinking about him!
