Because Maxwell's first two teeth broke through on his blessing day when he was three months old, we knew he was going to lose his teeth early. The average child loses his/her first tooth at age 6 or 7, Maxwell is 4 1/2. Back in November we noticed a tooth growing in behind his front bottom tooth. By December it had come in all the way and loosened the tooth in front of it in the process. Two days before Christmas he pulled his first tooth out himself... and the second, well watch the videos:)
It took the tooth fairy two nights to get to Maxwells tooth since she was slightly sleep deprived due to her new tooth fairy baby and forgot.

I love the crazed look in his eye when he tried to pull it out himself in the first video. Priceless
Way to go Maxwell! I can't believe that kid is losing teeth! We are excited to see you!
yah, the tooth fairy forgot over here a few times too. Luckily she left a note on my pillow to remind her that she was coming the next night. Post-it notes are great.
Congrats to Maxwell, that it so cool that you have it on video.
Yeah Maxwell! Such a fun stage to be in! The tooth fairy seems to forget here quite often too. But, she pays double when she forgets. Pretty sweet deal, but it sometimes means that J purposely has made his tooth very hard for the tooth fairy to find. But, after the most recent fiasco lasting several nights, the tooth fairy decided she doesn't come to boys who are over the age of 12 anymore!
We must have the same Tooth Fairy, because ours has forgotten twice now.
It was so good to see you and Casey last weekend! You guys are such a great example to us.
We hope to see you again soon and perhaps continue convincing Jamie of the benefits of wax. =)
